March 4th, 2016

Welcome, Friday folks.

And we’re soooo close to Spring now!!

Videos! Coming right up!

We are the World using Face Swap Live

Self explanatory, and funny, and weird, and holy crap this is possible with any computer in 2016.

Wintergatan – Marble Machine (music instrument using 2000 marbles)

This is one of the weirdest things I have ever seen – or heard – in my life. (And I’ve seen Blue Man Group. ๐Ÿ™‚ )

What a monster of a construction to get this to work. Bizarre.

Hey speaking of marbles…

Marble Race: Longest Sand Marble Run Ever!

This one was sent in by Terry L. and is oddly fascinating to me (and apparently also to 1.092 million others.)

Great concept, well executed.

City Lights

“‘City Lights’ is the final chapter from my “Trilogy of Light” series that began a couple years ago with ‘LA Light‘ and then followed up with ‘Nightfall‘. It was an nightly adventure that took me to almost every angle of Los Angeles. It was an exercise in patience. A lesson in light. An understanding of what it is to live amongst each other and to understand the system and order of a city, the seemingly complex organics that make it up and the life form that the city truly is.”

Filmmaker Colin Rich creates a really distinctive time lapse of Los Angeles. I found this breathtaking.

Bonus Video!

My dog likes to look at me while I eat, until I catch him and he looks away from me

[self explanatory]

Dogs: they know how to troll.

That’s it for this week, so as Ted Cruz once said: I need a Bogel for the Glotch.

See you next Friday!
