Well hello there late-May Friday, have a seat I’ll mix you a drink…
Oh and: Here are some videos!
“This is a short analysis of Steven Spielberg’s films.”
The word “short” doesn’t really do justice to the interesting details contained within. Really expertly done. I like.
“My Grandad was in the Royal Navy in WWII, in the submarines. I went over to set up his new PC that I’d made for him a few weeks ago and he showed me a photo that a relative had emailed him, of him in his uniform back when he was about 20. The photo was in a bad state and I said I’d see what I could do to sort out some of the cracks, so emailed it to myself to see what could be done.”
This is a beautiful little video. There’s an updated blog posting about the ensuing crowdsourcing-via-reddit that led to this lovely moment.
It’s been making the rounds, and that’s for very good reasons: It’s awesome.
After the CEO of Abercrombie and Fitch said he wanted only cool people to be wearing his clothing, L.A.-based writer Greg Karber decided he would give a bunch of A&F clothing to homeless people.
This video has definitely been making the rounds all week but it’s a hell of a story. Further details here.
Take John Lennon’s “Imagine” and speed it up. Take Paul McCartney and Wings’ “Band On The Run” and slow it down.
Compare and contrast. 🙂
“Learning to play a new game has never been so painful.”
Nicely done. 🙂
Have a happy, warm, lovely Friday.
